I have an ambition to explore how all genres function in the music industry, regardless of my personal preferences.
Music is closely tied to my personal life events, rather than movies or TV shows. Since 2015, I’ve kept monthly playlists, cataloguing and archiving songs that tie to exact moments of my life and personal experiences.
It has always been my goal to consume as much music as I can, whether it’s live at shows or in the comfort of my home. The drive to explore genres outside of my comfort zone influenced me to start taking playlist curation as a hobby.
Since building my Spotify profile, I have now curated over 25 playlists that connect to either feelings, periods of time, specific genres, or as whole collectives.
